Michael Nussbaum graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. before attending Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center and a fellowship in surgical oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. He is licensed in the state Pennsylvania to practice medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Nussbaum’s honors and awards include being named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society and the University of Pennsylvania Residents’ Teaching Award. His faculty appointments have included Attending Surgeon of the Upper GI Service Department of Surgical Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University Schools of Medicine. His hospital affiliations include Holy Redeemer Hospital and Medical Center and Abington Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Nussbaum’s professional memberships include Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), Pennsylvania Oncologic Society, Charles B.
