Frank E. Rizzo, D.O. - Anesthesiology

Procedures performed by Dr. Rizzo:

Frank Rizzo graduated from King’s College with a B.S. before attending Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a rotating internship and a residency in anesthesia at Delaware Valley Medical Center, and assigned rotations at Cooper Medical Center in critical care and trauma, Albert Einstein Medical Center in obstetrics, and Geisinger Medical Center in cardiothoracic, pediatrics and pain management. He is licensed in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey to practice medicine. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Rizzo’s hospital appointments include Albert Einstein Medical Center, Warminster Tenet Hospital, and Health South Rehabilitation Hospital. At Philadelphia Surgical Center, he serves as the Chairman of the Anesthesia department, a member of the Board of Directors and Quality Assurance Committee. Dr. Rizzo is a managing partner with the Delaware Valley Anesthesia Association as well as the Clinical Pain Management Association. He also serves as the Medical Director and Chairman of Anesthesia at Huntingdon Valley Surgery Center.

Dr. Rizzo’s academic appointment includes Clinical Instructor of Anesthesia at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a professional member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Penna Osteopathic Association, the International Anesthesia Research Society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists.
