Steven Fassler graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Philosophy and
Biology before attending Temple University School of Medicine. He completed a
residency in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey and an integrated residency in surgery at the
University of Connecticut Health Center. He is licensed by the state of
Pennsylvania to practice medicine. He is certified by the American Board of
Surgery and The American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
Dr.Fassler’s professional memberships include Pennsylvania Medical Society, EP
Salvati Society and UCON Surgical Society. He is a fellow of the American
College of Surgeons, The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the
Philadelphia Academy of Surgery, and the Pennsylvania Society of Colon and
Rectal Surgeons.
Dr.Fassler has an academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor of
Surgery at Temple University School of Medicine.
